Most of your answers are:

A. RATIONAL ENGINEER

You do not see everything in black and white. You believe that technical progress is not the solution for everything, but you also believe that it is not responsible for everything that is wrong in today's society. You know you are living in a world that is shackled by various constraints and that you need to make the most out of the rules in place. In your eyes, a good solution is one that is adopted by the largest number of people. You have understood that it takes all sorts to fix the world. To succeed, you are ready to create a real Noah's Ark with all trades working together, even if it means letting others cast doubts about your convictions.

In this particular situation, do not forget that your skills at leading change are worth just as much as your technical expertise.

B. REBELLIOUS ENGINEER

You are fed up with current affairs and have ended up resigning yourself to the fact that the world is too broken to be fixed. You are convinced that the only way is to wipe the slate clean and take everything back to the drawing board, whether machines, progress or the entire system.

Since you are not happy with any of the existing solutions, you need to design your own one. As the American anthropologist Margaret Mead said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.

Make sure you do not forget that sometimes “done is better than perfect.”

C. PROGRESSIVE ENGINEER

You believe that everyone has their own role to play and that everything should be done in good time. Engineers should stick to what they know best, namely draw on their technical expertise to raise our living standards. When it comes to society and the environment, it is down to the authorities to promote the most virtuous initiatives.

You are convinced that progress will provide the answers and you are putting your faith in low-carbon concrete and electrical machines to save us from disaster. Even so, keep the following saying in mind: “Faster alone, further together.” The only way to create the best conditions for everyone to live together is by synchronising our efforts and working as a team.
